Gut microbes has potential to interact with the host and accelerate the disease pathogenesis and response to therapy. It is now well known that microbes can colonize in the pancreas and play a role in PDAC tumorigenesis and progression. In this project we identified the fungal-biome (mycobiome) present in the gut lumen and PDAC tumor.
