Supplementary Materials for "Digital Monitoring, Parent–Child Communication, and Children's Autonomy: A Qualitative Study of Parental Media Mediation Around Children's Smartwatches in China"

This repository contains supplementary research materials supporting the manuscript “Digital Monitoring, Parent–Child Communication, and Children’s Autonomy: A Qualitative Study of Parental Media Mediation Around Children’s Smartwatches in China.” The materials include the semi-structured interview protocols for child, parent, and teacher participants; the analytic coding framework; saturation-check documentation; and de-identified illustrative interview excerpts reported in the manuscript. Raw audio recordings and full interview transcripts are not included because the study involved minor participants and detailed contextual information may create a risk of re-identification. The deposited materials are intended to support transparency and scholarly verification while remaining consistent with participant consent and ethical safeguards.
