There are two data sets for transcripts obtained from water samples collected from the upper halo cline of Thetis Basin, a deep, hyper saline anoxic basin in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea. There are also 2 data sets for transcripts obtained from water samples collected from the lower halo cline of Thetis Basin, which is much higher salinity, and undetectable oxygen.
