Studies about animal mitogenome sequencing have exploded in recent years, and over 40,000 mitogenomes are available in the NCBI database. But, only 24 mitogenomes belong to Tetrigidae, which are complete and verified by NCBI (retrieval date: August 1, 2022). More mitogenome sequences would be helpful to conduct mitogenome-based phylogeny and to understand the genomic characteristics of Tetrigidae.
