资源简介:
James E. Price was instructed by Kevin McMurry to conduct a Phase I cultural resources assessment of a tract of consisting of the presently fenced area at the Round Spring wastewater treatment plant. On April 26, 2000 James E. Price, Ozark National Scenic Riverways Archeologist, visited the wastewater treatment plant at Round Spring. Accompanying him were Kevin McMurry and Randy Ross. The portion of tile mound on which the treatment plant lies has subsided, causing one end of the building to sink. Ground disturbance with be necessary to correct the problem. A new chain link fence will be constructed around the treatment plant and adjacent basin. The spray field on the side of the hill will have to be expanded to meet certain spray field guidelines. Expansion will involve moving one portion of the spray field from the floodplain to the slope and removing some vegetation from the margins and between the spray fields.
This project involves the removal of present steel posts and barbed wire from around the wastewater treatment basins and replacing them with a new chain link fence. Holes will be drilled in the ground and the new posts will be set in concrete.
