This dataset is a collection of OCRed text from newspapers in Sweden spanning from the 1640s to the early 1900s. It is curated by Språkbanken Text at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. The original data is available in XML format with various annotations. This version of the dataset includes only the OCRed text, split into decadal subsets, with one sentence per line and sentences shorter than four words removed. The dataset is licensed under the CC BY 4.0 ShareAlike license.
