Frères School trip to Mount Nebo, Jordan, 1956

These are digital reproductions of images held in the private collection of George Harb. These photographs were taken during a Frères School trip to Mount Nebo in Jordan in January 1956. This was in the early years of George Harb's career as a teacher at the school. Some of the students include Albert Dabdoub (holding rifle), George’s brother Samir (to Albert’s right), Michel Marto (front row holding the bag – later went on to become Minister of Finance in Jordanian government), Ibrahim Dabdoub (back row second from left – went on to become very successful banker in Kuwait). The writing in French in the following images refers to these photos. These images are part of the George Harb Photos collection, within the George Harb project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.
