资源简介:
In 2011 a national assessment was carried out, which was commissioned by the Flemish government, to assess the extent to which students have achieved the attainment targets for mathematics at the end of the second grade of general secondary education. Data were collected through 8 written tests covering 3 domains: (1) number sense, algebra and functions, (2) geometry and (3) statistics. A representative sample of 3873 students from 171 Flemish secondary schools participated. Tests were supplemented with background questionnaires for students, parents and teachers. The student questionnaire included questions on their motivation and their perceptions of the mathematics classes. The parent questionnaire collected information on their child, the family situation and their involvement in the school. Teachers were, among other things, questioned about the didactic aspects of mathematics classes, the teaching materials used, their professionalization, and collaboration with colleagues. The response rates to these questionnaires were 99% for the students, 97% for the parents and 98% for the teachers.
