资源简介:
Community resilience is a complex, multi-dimensional problem that requires the expertise of various disciplines, such as engineering, social sciences, and earth sciences, to improve the way communities prepare for, resist, respond to, and recover from disruptive events, whether natural or human-caused.
The Community Resilience Program at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) focuses on research, community planning and guidance, and stakeholder engagement. The Community Resilience Assessment Methodology team helps communities and researchers assess resilience at the community-scale based on community functions, supported by buildings and infrastructure systems, and the recovery of those functions following a disruptive hazard event.
This poster offers an overview of the foundational products, which provides tools, metrics, and guidance for the measurement of baseline resilience and changes in resilience over time.
