"This dataset is specifically constructed for Viscoacoustic Full-Waveform Inversion (Q-FWI) research. The primary objective is to systematically validate and analyze the intricate coupling effects between seismic velocity and quality factor (Q) during the inversion process. Accurately distinguishing attenuation-induced phase shifts from velocity perturbations remains a key challenge in FWI, and this dataset provides a controlled benchmark for that purpose. The collection comprises a custom-built, synthetic Anomaly Model designed to isolate specific viscoacoustic responses, along with several carefully excerpted sections of subsurface models cited and adapted from existing geophysical literature. It is intended to support reproducible algorithm development and uncertainty quantification in attenuating media"
