Beyond mutation frequency: structural classification of EGFR mutations and multi-perspective efficacy analysis of EGFR-TKIs against compound and co-mutations in a Chinese NSCLC cohort

Epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)mutations have been classified into four distinct subgroups based on the characteristics of the kinase domain and their sensitivity to tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs).However, literature regarding the distribution and biological features of these structural subtypes among Chinese patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) remains limited.This retrospective study aims to further investigate the distribution characteristics of EGFR mutations and the sensitivity of complex EGFR mutations to TKIs in Chinese patients.
