资源简介:
R-markdown files of statistical analysis of collected data and reported results (LongJump_Stats). R-markdown file of graphs used to display results (LJgraphing) and .csv file of collected data (LongJumpData.csv).We determined run-up velocity and jump distance of athletes with transtibial amputation (TTA) who used a running-specific prosthesis (RSP) with a manufacturer-recommended stiffness category (Rec Cat; 39.5 kN/m), one category less (-1 Cat; 36.0 kN/m) and more stiff (+1 Cat; 43.9 kN/m) and non-amputee athletes who used a regulation run-up surface with a regulation take-off platform (1630 kN/m), and two compliant take-off platforms (84.0 and 90.0 kN/m). We measured maximum run-up velocity (m/s) using a radar gun, take-off platform vertical displacement (m) using a high-speed camera and kinovea, and compared these between stiffnesses, and across subjects. This file is a CSV file of the data from the study. The first column contains a number that was used as the subject's ID (Subject). The second column is the maximum run-up velocity for each subject in meters/second (Speed). The third column is the RSP stiffness category relative to the recommended stiffness category for a given subject (minus0 = recommended stiffness category, plus1 = 1 category stiffer than recommended, minus1 = 1 category less stiff than recommended, minus2 = 2 category less stiff than recommended). The fourth column is the RSP stiffness in kN/m (TO_k). The fifth column is the jump distance in meters (JumpDist). The sixth column is the amputation status of each subject (AMP = athlete with TTA, Non = non-amputee athletes). The seventh column is the vertical displacement in meters during the take-off step of the RSP in athletes with TTA, and the take-off platform in non-amputee athletes (Disp). The eighth column is the elastic energy in Joules stored within RSP in athletes with TTA, and the take-off platform in non-amputee athletes (U). The ninth column is the athlete's body mass in kilograms (kg).
