Sequencing of microbial AD communities along the period of one year

The present study focused on a one-year sequencing of communities from four biogas plants. Each digester was sampled every two months and sequenced to evaluate the dynamics of microbiome changes. This study provides insights into the microbial structure and how this is shaped on the basis of the feedstocks digested. Finally, these findigs have enormous implications for renewable energy production .
