More than 90% of the Earth's microbes live in marine environments, marine microbes play a vital role in the cycling of organic matter and nutrients in the ocean. However, microbial community processes under different pressure conditions are poorly understood. In this study, we investigated the diversity of microbial communities and the factors that influence community composition under different pressure conditions. The results showed that the level of pressure affected the reaction rate of substance, especially for carbon cycle processes.
