Noida Functional–Morphological Zones

Version 1.0 of an author-delineated functional–morphological zoning dataset for Noida, India. The dataset aggregates Noida’s official sector geography into twelve top-level urban zones, with North and South subzones for Noida Expressway Flats, and six supplementary or peripheral coverage features. The canonical 19-feature coverage spans 196.27 km² and is topologically complete, with no internal gaps or overlaps. The release includes GeoJSON, GeoPackage and Shapefile layers; sector and village crosswalks; functional-anchor, housing, source and claim-evidence tables; validation outputs; map figures; processing scripts; a companion workbook; and the accompanying manuscript, From Sectors to Urban Nodes: A Functional–Morphological Zoning Dataset for Noida, India. This is an analytical classification intended for research and urban interpretation. It is not a statutory boundary system. Data, documentation and figures are released under CC BY 4.0; processing code is released under the MIT License.
