资源简介:
A cross-sectional study was conducted with 82 female players (U11–U18) from the same academy, categorized by chronological age and biological maturity, estimated using years from peak height velocity (YPHV). Performance assessments included a 40-meter sprint, COD 505 test, countermovement jump, repeated sprint ability, and the 30-15 Intermittent Fitness Test. One-way ANOVA and ANCOVA analyses were performed to compare groups, with height and body mass as covariates. Correlation analyses further explored relationships between physical attributes and growth-related factors. Results showed that both chronological age and biological maturity significantly influenced performance, with more mature players demonstrating superior sprint, jump, and endurance capacities. Correlation analyses indicated that YPHV was a slightly stronger predictor of performance than chronological age alone, particularly for sprint and jump height. These findings highlight the importance of incorporating biological maturity assessments in youth soccer development.
