资源简介:

This dataset supports the study “Development and evaluation of an empirical ground-acceleration prediction model using multi-station observations in Thailand and surrounding regions.” The package combines earthquake catalog data from the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and the International Seismological Centre (ISC), seismic waveforms and instrument-response metadata obtained through EarthScope, and site-condition estimates from the USGS Global Vs30 Mosaic. The acquisition domain covers 0–30°N and 88–110°E. The search imposed no lower calendar-year cutoff within the available catalog and targeted station archives. Inclusion was constrained by the archived ISC Reviewed Bulletin coverage, which ends on 31 August 2024. The final screened dataset contains 651 event–station pairs from 245 earthquakes and 31 station codes, with retained observations spanning 5 October 1999 to 28 July 2024. Final screening proceeded from 676 to 671, 653, and 651 pairs through timing, peak-attribution, and site-predictor checks. The response variable is the geometric mean of the peak absolute accelerations of two horizontal components after instrument-response correction and filtering within 0.1–10 Hz, expressed relative to standard gravity. Models use earthquake magnitude and source-to-station distance, with comparisons examining event and station effects and the contribution of map-based Vs30. The package includes source data, event-association evidence, screening decisions, the final analysis dataset, model coefficients, predictions, evaluation results, uncertainty and sensitivity analyses, figures, processing and analysis code, data dictionaries, provenance records, and reproduction instructions. Reproduction checks cover all 651 retained acceleration measurements and the supplied model-evaluation results. The reported evaluations constitute internal development validation. The models have not been independently validated for unrestricted application to other locations. This package does not include earthquake recurrence or seismic hazard calculations.
