资源简介:
Introduction: Drug repurposing is a strategy for identifying new molecules outside the scope of original medical indication. It has some key benefits such as cost-effectiveness and time efficiency. Clinical steps are further divided into phases such as preclinical and clinical steps. Pancreatic cancer has one of the lowest 5-year survival rates of only 12%, and 90% of all pancreatic cancers are adenocarcinoma. Symptoms include jaundice, dark urine, light-colored stool, upper abdominal pain, middle back pain, fatigue, itchy skin, nausea, vomiting, gases or bloating, lack of appetite, blood clots, weight loss, and new-onset diabetes. Transcriptional drug repurpose is a promising method to overcome these obstacles and explore new drugs for complex diseases. Methods: Data preparation and preprocessing: The TCGA PAAD and TCGA Pan Cancer raw data is available at UCSC Zena. Again we separated the Ensembl ID the same way we did with the TCGA dataset. Rstudio has been used to label the data as tumor and normal. All codes are submitted to github All analysis were carried out at RStudio. Conclusion:Geldanamycin is a benzoquinone ansamycin antibiotic that manifests anti-cancer activity through the inhibition of HSP90-chaperone function. It is expressed at high levels in a variety of human cancers, and is thought to have a critical role in regulating the stability, folding, and activity of HSP90-associated proteins. Future perspectives include the identification of new HSP90 client proteins and the development of HSP90 inhibitors for clinical applications. Further studies are needed to know the effect of Geldanamycin on Pancreatic cancer.
