Microcat, current meter and ADCP data from moorings of the eastern Iceland Basin array as part of UK OSNAP (Overturning in the Subpolar North Atlantic Programme) from 2018-2020.

The dataset consists of temperature, salinity, pressure and velocity from three moorings in the eastern Iceland Basin during 2018-2020. The moorings were implemented under the UK OSNAP (Overturning in the Subpolar North Atlantic Programme) as part of the international OSNAP array put in place to measure the full depth, basin-wide overturning circulation and associate transport of heat and freshwater. The moorings were deployed on cruise AR30-04 (2018) for a two-year long deployment and recovered on DY120 (2020). The data are time series of pressure, temperature, salinity and currents at UK OSNAP moorings IB3, IB4 and IB5 and have been fully processed, calibrated and quality controlled. Funding for the programme came from NERC grant UK OSNAP Decade (NE/T00858X/1).
