Multi omics Profiling of Crohns disease and Intestinal tuberculosis

Crohns disease (CD) and Intestinal tuberculosis (ITB) are both chronic inflammatory diseases. These two entities share confusingly similar clinical, endoscopic, radiologic, and pathological features, making the differential diagnosis challenging. We aimed to decipher the shared and distinct host-microbiota signatures of ITB and CD. A multi-omics investigation will help make differential diagnosis and facilitate in-depth novel insights on pathways to ITB and CD pathogenesis.
