资源简介:
Propagation phase contrast synchrotron X-ray micro computed tomography dataset of coprolite RH-FR-JM30 from Les Charbonnières site of the Franchesse locality, France (Renière Formation, Asselian, early Permian), and curated at Rhinopolis Associative Museum, Gannat, France. The coprolite contains a maxilla listed as referred specimen to the newly described species of aeduellid Franchessella pohlcremeri sp. nov. The material is studied in Goncalves et al. 2026. The coprolite was imaged at an isotropic voxel size of 6.039 μm. The beamline was configured with a filtered white beam setup to an energy of 130 keV (filters: Mo 1.3 mm, sapphire 5 mmm, 19 x 5 mm diameter carbon rods), an indirect detector comprising a 2 mm LuAG scintillator, an optical lens with 0.64x magnification, and a IRIS 15 sCMOS camera. The sample to detector distance was 6 m, recording 14200 projections, and a total exposure time of 40 ms. The skull was scanned with an center of rotation offset of 2000 pixels to increase final volume field of view, in helical geometry. The final dataset in 16bits jpeg2000 was cropped as close as possible from the maxilla to reduce data size.
