British English Read-Aloud Speech Dataset (Mobile Recorded) is created by reading aloud pre-defined scripts and simulating recordings via mobile phones, covering multiple categories including general scenarios, interactive scenarios, in-vehicle scenarios and smart home scenarios, with rich content. This dataset is annotated with multiple attributes such as text content. It was recorded by 1651 native British speakers from diverse regional and cultural backgrounds, featuring authentic accents. The texts have been manually proofread with high accuracy, providing abundant resources for speech recognition-related research and applications. Verified by multiple AI companies, this dataset helps models deliver excellent performance when facing real-world diversity.
