Many National Football League fans spend money on merchandise related to NFL franchise and players in the United States. For instance, 42 percent of a January 2023 survey sample stated that they spent between 101 and 250 U.S. dollars on merchandise in the 12 months preceding the survey. Furthermore, two percent of respondents admitted to having spent upwards of one thousand U.S. dollars on NFL merchandise during this period.
