资源简介:
This is a collection of soil analytical values, GPS locations, and field condition near infrared (NIR) spectra collected on the CSIRO Boorowa Agricultural Research Station (BARS) long term trial (LTT) immediately prior to differentiation of land use. (Pre-sowing 2022). \n\nThe first row is a header of column names. \nColumns 1:8 represent the sampling metadata of the soil samples, including the Sample ID, core number and coordinates (in WGS 84), depth bounds, sampling date and date of returned analysis values. \nRows 2:627 contain samples which were selected for laboratory analysis, and Columns 9:19 contain the reported values from the laboratory analysis. \nColumn names in 9:19 are prefixed by the Rayment & Lyons chemical method for the soil analyte, and are suffixed by the units. Columns 20 and 21 are Sensing metadata for the NIR scans, reporting The Serial number of the Device used to scan that sub sample, and the timestamp of the specific scan. Column 22 is a dummy column to delineate the start of the reported reflectance wavelengths for each scan, and all subsequent columns represent backgrounded reflectance at a specified wavelength in nm. \n\nLineage: The BARS LTT was stratified using a series of covariates related to soil forming factors, and 60 core locations were sampled to a 50cm depth to establish an unbiased estimation of soil properties across the trial site. Cores were sealed in field condition, and transported to the field support facility at black mountain, where they were refrigerated until scanning. These cores were then sub-sampled in 5cm increments, and each of these increments were scanned in moist core condition, in triplicate with a Hone Lab Red spectrometer. 200 of the 600 total sub samples were selected for chemical analysis, and values were reported for cation exchange capacity and exchangeable cations, electrical conductivity, pH in water and CaCl2, soil organic carbon, and total nitrogen.
