A more comprehensive understanding is needed on the rebalancing process of rumen microbiota after the addition of 3-NOP. We chose a fully automated fermentation system in vitro to observe the process of 3-NOP inhibiting methane, and extracted the fermentation fluid (n=12) at the beginning of net hydrogen consumption(24 h) for metatranscriptomic sequencing, as well as quantitative analysis of key microorganisms. Pure bacterial inhibition experiments were also conducted on four different nutritional types of methane bacteria.
