Patiria miniata isolate:Pmin_02 Genome sequencing and assembly

Genomic DNA isolated from bat star (Patiria miniata) sperm has been sequenced by PacBio Sequel to approximately 150x coverage. These data are used in conjunction with HiC data generated from offspring embryos of a different animal to produce a draft genome assembly. This assembly is particularly useful in the study of the evolution of deuterostome developmental and regeneration programs.
