资源简介:
Background: The Stay Human program aims to prevent radicalization in children and adolescents by addressing risk factors identified by the social-developmental model of radicalization (Beelmann, 2020) and supported by international meta-analyses (e.g., Emmelkamp et al., 2020; Jahnke et al., 2021). It also aims to enhance protective factors against extremism. Developed based on evidence-based prevention theories and previous radicalization prevention programs, the study evaluates the program's impact on assessing risk and protective factors, extremist attitudes, behavioral intentions, and behaviors. Objectives: Does the Stay human program effectively prevent extremist attitudes, extremist behavioral intentions and extremist behavior among children and adolescents, and does the program contribute to advancements in social-cognitive skills (e.g. empathy) and identity-related variables (e.g. self-complexity), while concurrently diminishing anti-social attitudes, extremist political ideologies, and prejudicial beliefs. Participants: Children and adolescents aged13-17 years. Study method: A controlled intervention study (conceptualization, implementation, and evaluation of the Stay human prevention program) with pre-, post-, and follow-up measurement. unknown other
