To investigate the effects of gene Fmod on affecting brain dysfunction and metabolic disorders by profiling the transcripome in the hypothalamus and liver of male Fmod_KO mice at 13 weeks old. All mice (male Fmod_KO (n=4)) were maintained in a temperature-controlled room with a 12-hour light and 12-hour dark cycle. Wild Type (WT) control mice are the same as the mice used for BGN_KO analysis, thus data are not repeatedly uploaded here. Diet (Pico Lab 5053 rodent diet) and water were provided ad libitum. At 13 weeks old, mice were sacrificed. Hypothalamus and liver were dissected out, flash frozen, and stored at -80°C for later usage. All experiments were performed in accordance with the United States National Institutes of Health Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals and were approved by the University of California at Los Angeles Chancellor’s Animal Research Committee.
