This dataset contains confocal microscopy images of live/dead stained cells after exposure to silylated biopolymers: silylated gelatin, silylated hyaluronic acid, and silylated chitosan. The experiments were conducted to assess the cytocompatibility of these materials for tissue engineering applications. Images were acquired using a Leica DMi8 confocal microscope in a standard flat-bottom 24-well plastic plate format. The dataset includes: "Live" channel images captured using FITC (excitation 488 nm, emission 520 nm) to indicate viable cells. "Dead" channel images captured using Texas Red (excitation 594 nm, emission 615 nm) to indicate non-viable cells. Merged images combining both channels for qualitative analysis of cell viability. Images are organized by material and experimental condition, with naming conventions specifying the material, concentration, and exposure duration. The files are in TIFF format. This dataset supports research on the biocompatibility of silylated biopolymers and their potential for tissue engineering applications. (2024-11-12)
