IgA-seq analysis of fecal samples during allergic airway inflammation in OVA induced mouse asthma model

Our study identified significant gut microbiome changes induced by allergic airway inflammation in a murine asthma model, highlighting a notable decrease in IgA plasma cells within the colon, accompanied by their migration and accumulation in the inflamed lungs. Through IgA seq analysis, we discovered selective impairment in IgA binding to specific bacterial taxa. This SRA dataset contains paired-end 16S rRNA sequencing data (V3 V4 region) derived from IgA coated and non-coated fecal bacterial populations. It includes comprehensive microbial community profiles and IgA targeting specificity comparisons between control mice and mice undergoing allergic airway inflammation.
