资源简介:
The article reveals the importance of mathematical representations in the daily life of primary school students and their role in forming practical skills and cognitive abilities in primary school children. The process of mastering basic mathematical concepts - number, counting, quantities, measurements, geometric shapes, and spatial relationships - is considered through real-life situations that children encounter daily. It is emphasized that mathematical representations contribute to the development of logical thinking, the ability to analyze, compare, and generalize, and form the foundations of functional literacy. Special attention is paid to practice-oriented teaching of mathematics, which allows for the connection of educational material with students' life experiences. Examples are given of using mathematical knowledge in everyday life, learning activities, and social interactions, such as counting objects, planning time, measuring quantities, and navigating space. The teacher's role in creating conditions for conscious application of mathematical knowledge through visual aids, game technologies, and practical tasks is noted. The article concludes that the systematic use of life situations in mathematics lessons increases motivation for learning, contributes to a stronger assimilation of knowledge, and forms stable mathematical concepts necessary for a child's successful learning and future life in modern society.
