The Joint Council consisted of Public Transport Commissioners, Senior staff of the Commission (such as the Director, Finance and Director, Personnel) and representatives of the NSW Labour Council and Transport Unions.The Council dealt with a range of industrial issues including salaries, gradings, working conditions and duties, industrial relations, redundancy, the effect of workplace change and restructure upon employees. This series consists of minutes of proceedings of Joint Council meetings, as well as agenda and papers circulated to members.
