This series contains personnel history summary cards sourced from Shortland Electricity and Orion Energy and their predecessor agencies Shortland County Council and Newcastle City Council.The cards contain the following information: Surname, first name, address, birth date, place, birth certificate no., previously employed, position, marital status, dependents (children or other), annual leave due. Table containing: date, position, grade, salary, remarks. On reverse side: periods of absence. Some staff records are Leave records which contains name, employee number, address and pro-rata holiday pay.The cards are arranged alphabetically by organisation up to 1986 and then alphabetically by exit year groupings of 1989-1992, 1994-1995, 1995-1996 and two boxes of miscellaneous at the end of the first consignment. Each card is listed individually on the consignment lists.
