As part of the first data release of G4Jy-SALT spectra (White et al., 2025a), SDSS DR12 (Alam et al., 2015) and SDSS DR16 (Ahumada et al., 2020) spectra were refitted in order to provide improved spectroscopic redshifts. The present SDSS spectra are for the five G4Jy sources for which this refitting step was completed.
