Processed Shotgun Metagenomic Data from Stool Samples of 39 Patients with Acute Ischemic Stroke
收藏资源简介:
Dataset Overview This dataset contains processed shotgun metagenomic data derived from stool samples collected from 39 patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS). The dataset includes sample-level metagenomic assembly sequences in FASTA format, taxonomic abundance tables, functional analysis results, and sequencing quality-control summaries. Data Contents Metagenomic assembly sequences: Sample-level assembled contigs in FASTA format, provided as compressed files. Taxonomic abundance profiles: Relative and absolute abundance tables at different taxonomic levels, including phylum, class, order, family, genus, and species. Functional analysis results: Functional abundance and annotation-related tables based on COG, NOG, CARD, BacMet, and Swiss-Prot reference resources. Sequencing quality-control summaries: Per-sample sequencing statistics, including read counts, sequencing bases, Q20, Q30, GC content, and host sequence rates. Study Purpose The study aimed to characterize the gut microbial composition and functional profiles of patients with acute ischemic stroke and investigate their associations with neurological severity. Data Availability and Limitations The deposited files represent processed shotgun metagenomic data, including assembled contigs and downstream analysis results. Original raw FASTQ sequencing reads are not included in this dataset. These processed data are provided to facilitate research transparency, secondary analysis, and evaluation of the available metagenomic results.
