DNA sequences from alcoholic fermentation in sugarcane biorefineries

This project investigates the diversity and population dynamics of the microbial community, mainly composed of bacteria and yeasts, present in alcoholic fermentation processes in sugarcane biorefineries. Amplicon sequencing and shotgun approaches were applied to identify and characterize these organisms.
