The register records the following information: employee's name and administrative section, rate of pay, monthly salary, and any remarks including if they resigned, were dismissed or transferred. Employee names are arranged by permanent or temporary female/male staff.The later register records the following information: on the left page in the left column the employees name is recorded, staff names are arranged by administrative sections of the Hospital. Under each name are rows that record: salary, overtime, superannuation, assurance and Hospital fund. In the columns to the right the following information is recorded: No of dependents, Date of (birth, appointment, last variation, next increment), Annual Salary (gross, deduction of board and lodging, net.), Salary for 28 days (actual less board and lodging, total deductions, net) and net salary for 14 days.On the facing page are rows recording gross income, superannuation, Federal Tax, other deductions, and overtime. Under the heading 'Salary Changes only in Gross Salary for Period 28 days' are 13 columns numbered 1-13 with the date of the 28 day period beginning and ending in the financial year.The volumes are chronological and have annual dividers for each financial year.
