The study deals with two types of oral cancer namely Oral potentially malignant disorder (OPMD) and Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). The fastq files of the sequences were obtained from swabs of normal people and people with OSCC and OPMD. The study aimed to assess the microbiome associated in each type sample and assess the clinicopatholologic correlation of the microbiome with the stages of oral cancer.The sequencing was performed using ILLUMINA MiSeq sequencer and total of 39 samples were processed.
