Trauma und Beunruhigung, Trauer und Trostarbeit

Der Beitrag befasst sich mit kollektiven Kontexten und Hintergründen von Traumatisierung, Beunruhigung, Trauer und Trost als neurozerebralen und emotionalen Prozessen und ihrer individuellen und kollektiven Gedächtnisdynamik. In integrativer, kulturtheoretischer Sicht werden die kriegerischen und pogromatischen kollektiven Megakatastrophen des 20. Jahrhunderts für ganze Völker als „kollektive Traumatisierungen“ gesehen, die aus neurobiologischer und neuropsychologischer Sicht nicht nur individuelle Trauerprozesse erforderlich machen, sondern kollektives Trauern, um „kollektive mentale Repräsentationen“ zu verändern. Trost, ein vernachlässigtes Thema der Psychotherapie, zu den „sanften Gefühlen“ gehörig, spielt dabei eine eminente Rolle. Deshalb wurde in der Integrativen Therapie das Konzept und die Methode einer „Trostarbeit“ entwickelt, die individuelle und kollektive Trauerarbeit unterstützen und zu einer proaktiven Friedensmentalität und konkreten Friedensarbeit finden muss. This article is dealing with the collective contexts and backgrounds of traumatization, worry, grief and comfort as neurocerebral and emotional processes and their individual and collective memory dynamicys. In the view of integrative cultural theory the bellicose and pogromatic collective megacatastrophies of the 20th century are considered as “collective traumatizations” for many nations. They require not only individual mourning processes, but under the perspective of neurobiology and neuropsychology collective mourning, in order to change “collective mental representations”. Consolation/comforting – a neglected theme in psychotherapy – belonging to the “soft feelings” plays here an eminent role.
