The Impact Mechanism of Nature Exposure on Intuitive Eating: the Chain Mediation of Connectedness to Nature and Body Appreciation

This study adopted a progressive research design to deeply explore the psychological mechanism between nature exposure and intuitive eating. The results revealed that individuals with a higher frequency of daily nature contact (i.e., a higher level of nature exposure) exhibited higher levels of connectedness to nature and body appreciation, and their tendency towards intuitive eating was also more pronounced. Moreover, connectedness to nature and body appreciation played a chain mediating role in the process of nature exposure promoting intuitive eating.
