Minutes of meeting: IFLA Regional Council, 29 September 2023

The second meeting of the Regional Council 2023-2025 was held virtually on 29 September 2023. Items discussed during this meeting include welcome by the Regional Council Chair, followed by a deep-dive from the Regional Division Chairs around themes for the state of the library field around the world: introduction on the state of the library field; regional Division Committee reports; background: data from the Library Map of the World; implications for the work of the Regional Council. Subsequently, forward-planning discussions took place.
