The soil samples were collected from the Icher and Doksa region of Zanskar Tehsil of Kargil District(Ladakh,India) India are of undeniable interest for microbiological studies due to their unique, extreme environmental conditions. The objective of this study was to provide a comprehensive analysis of the unexplored bacterial and archaeal community composition, structure, and networks in soil from these high altitude region by using a culture-independent sequencing method.
