资源简介:
Investigation into the role of high-fat diet (HFD) on the development of gut inflammation. While prolonged exposure to HFD exacerbates intestinal disease pathology, the early events preceding gut inflammation remain poorly understood. The shotgun data provided here is accompanied by rapid impairment of group 3 innate lymphoid cells (ILC3) in the HFD diet group, increased gut permeability and reduced tight junction proteins, and diminished production of antimicrobial peptides. ILC3s also exhibited reduced capacity to produce interleukin-22 (IL-22), which is critical for maintenance of gut homeostasis.
