资源简介:
This is data from studies on mechanisms compensating for disturbances in the activity of neuronal or humoral neuroimmune communication pathways in the model of intraperitoneal inflammation. Experiments were performed on 3-month-old male Wistar rats (300 g ± 25 g). Animals belonging to group CNT were not subjected to any procedures. Groups “NaCl”, “CEL”, “SC560”, “INDOM” were subcutaneously injected for 10 days with NaCl, celecoxib, SC-560 or indometacin, respectively. Groups “vagotomy” and “sham_operation” were subjected to either subdiaphragmatic vagotomy or sham operation performed in analogous way to the vagotomy, with exception of cutting the nerves. Next, animals were allowed to recover from surgery for 30 days. On the day following the end of the treatment (11th day for “NaCl”, “CEL”, “SC560”, “INDOM” and 31th day for “vagotomy” and “sham_operation”groups), the animals received a single intraperitoneal injection of either 10 µg lipopolysaccharide dissolved in 100 μl 0.9% NaCl (groups named “-I”) or the same volume of saline (groups named “-III”). Animals were decaptitated 120 minutes after injection. Immediately after decapitation, hypothalamus samples, restricted mainly to the medial part containing the paraventricular nucleus, were disected.
