Data was collected to assess prevalence of depression and associated factors among elderly population (60 or above years) in Moshi District Council, northern Tanzania. Depression was measured using the Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS-15). Prevalence of depression was estimated to be 44.4% and was associated with cognitive impairment and availability of social support.
本研究收集数据以评估坦桑尼亚北部莫希区议会60岁及以上老年人群中抑郁症的患病率及其相关因素。抑郁症采用老年抑郁量表（GDS-15）进行测量。抑郁症的患病率估计为44.4%，并与认知障碍和社会支持的可获得性相关联。
