Microbiome and resistome from swine manure management systems

Microbiome and resistome profiles were analyzed in swine manure treated by covered lagoon biodigesters (CLBs) and waste stabilization ponds (WSPs). This project compare these systems regarding the persistence and potential dissemination of antimicrobial resistance genes (ARGs) through digested manure applied on farmland.
