Shrinking Shrews: molecular mechanisms of seasonal size change

The Eurasian common shrew, Sorex araneus, has the rare ability to seasonally alter the size and morphology of their skull, body, organs, and brain. We seek to characterize the underlying mechanisms of this seasonal size change.
