SPARC Compactness Canonical Dataset (N=123): Gravitational Compactness of SPARC Disk Galaxies
收藏资源简介:
Canonical N=123 SPARC compactness dataset and analysis package accompanying the paper “Gravitational Compactness of SPARC Disk Galaxies.” Includes the canonical CSV, parameter JSON, BIC verification file, figures, and Python/Jupyter source scripts used to reproduce all results in the manuscript. All files validated for cross-platform reproducibility (UTF-8 plain text encoding). The dataset combines high-quality SPARC (Spitzer Photometry and Accurate Rotation Curves) galaxies selected with standard quality and inclination cuts (Q ≤ 3, 30° < i < 80°). Derived quantities include baryonic mass, effective radius, and the dimensionless disk compactness parameter λ. All calculations were performed using the sparc_canonical_final.py and SPARC_Canonical_Final-2.ipynb scripts, which replicate the canonical results: s = 0.742 ± 0.020, α = 0.296 ± 0.020, log₁₀ λₘₑd = −7.14, and ΔBIC = +2.63 × 10⁵ favoring the standard Radial Acceleration Relation (RAR) over any λ-dependent scaling. Included files: SPARC_Canonical123.csv — canonical galaxy sample canonical_FINAL_CORRECTED.json — summary of derived parameters BIC_Verification_summary.json — Bayesian model comparison results Source scripts and reproducibility notebook CHECKSUMS.txt — SHA-256 verification manifest All data are provided under the CC-BY 4.0 license, and all code under MIT.
