Transcriptome of ATC Mutants in warm and cold

We analyzed a knockdown mutant for ATCase (aspartate transcarbamoylase, atc-1) the gene product catalyzes the first committed step in Pyrimidine de novo synthesis. Control plants (Col-0) and atc-1 were grown for six weeks and then transferred to cold for one or three days of cold. Subsequently overground material was harvested, RNA isolated and used for next generation sequencing to (transcriptome analysis). Each genotype and treatment was done with three biological replicates.
