Sequencing of SARS-CoV-2 Infected Fixed Autopsy Tissue Blocks from US

This study examined lung autopsy FFPE samples from 13 patients with fatal SARS-CoV-2 infection between March and July 2020 by next-generation sequencing. Total RNAseq and SARS-CoV-2 virus enrichment sequencing libraries were made from them and host gene sequences were obtained from total RNAseq sequencing and SARS-CoV-2 viral sequences were obtained from virus enrichment sequencing.
